The art of brush making – design and craft your own hand brushes

Discovering old crafts anew! Brooms are far more than just utilitarian objects.
In this creative workshop, we will experiment with different textures and techniques. A selection of various materials invites you to make hand brooms in different shapes and styles. You will learn different binding techniques step by step and will hold your own individually crafted unique items in your hands at the end of the course – perfect for everyday use or as a decorative individual piece.

Group of participants: everyone who enjoys crafting with natural materials
Requirements: none
Number of participants: max. 12 people
Course times: Sat, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Course fee: 90 Euros, for students 80 Euros (excluding material costs)

Born in 1978, lives and works in the Mühlviertel, graduated as a primary school teacher and qualified Montessori teacher, intensive involvement with many different braiding techniques and materials, training with international braiding artists, studying at the University of Art and Design Linz - Sculpture Department since 2022.
