W27

Fri 21 – Sun 23 May 2027

In this weekend course, we will explore a creative space where artistic expression meets textile design. Through free exercises, we will work with both artistic techniques and textile methods, using brushes, paints, pens, and collage techniques with various interesting materials to delve into the principles of design theory. By combining different elements, we will experience an open, experimental approach to creative processes, with the emphasis placed firmly on the journey. Ongoing prompts will provide stimulation and illustrate the process of seeking and finding inspiration and new ideas. Over the course of the workshop, each participant will create an individual inspiration box, bringing together their own work and samples from the course. This box will serve as a personal archive, inviting you to revisit it, flick through its contents, and translate certain ideas into different techniques or further develop designs.
