Thu 19 – Sun 22 November 2026

The advanced course provides in-depth knowledge for Brother, Empisal or Silver Reed knitting machines in conjunction with the ribber. It is aimed at individuals who already have experience with machine knitting, but may not have used the ribber before, or have only worked simple ribbing with it up until now. Imagine knitting with the ribber as if you were using two knitting machines. Can you knit slip stitch and short row patterns on your machine? Then you can take these effects to a new level with the ribber and use them even more versatilely to create new effects.
We are learning cast-on and bind-off methods, shaping through increases and decreases, thorough swatching and circular knitting, extended and shortened rows, ribs and edgings on the double bed, and much more.
We are deepening our knowledge of Brother, Empisal and Silver Reed knitting machines – specifically in conjunction with the ribber.
