Create paper flowers

The art of paper flowers has been around for a very long time, and the design possibilities are endless. They require a bit of patience but have an eternal quality as they don't wilt. In this workshop, we'll learn some basic techniques and create some classic flowers together, such as poppies or peonies, before everyone has the chance to expand the spectrum by inventing their own flowers, combining colours as they wish, assembling a bouquet, or taking inspiration from a twig. Depending on taste, we can also work with the Kirigami technique to create garlands, brooches or wall installations. The aim here is to be inspired by nature without being limited to „just“ imitating it.

Number of participants: max. 10 persons
Course times: Fri: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sat: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM, Sun: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Course fee: 230 Euros, for students 210 Euros (excluding material costs)

Course management: DELPHINE LÉGER, born in France/Austria in 1976, lives and works in Vienna. She trained as a textile designer at E.N.S.A.A.M.A Olivier de Serres in Paris. In France, she worked as a theatre actress and set designer. Since 2006, she has been working as a craftswoman and artist in Vienna. Primarily working with paper and card, she has, among other things, delved into the art of creating paper flowers.
