Prato in Tuscany is considered one of the most significant textile production sites in Europe. The city has a long textile tradition and is particularly known for its globally unique expertise in wool recycling. This remains a key unique selling proposition today, making the location a vibrant laboratory for circular textile production.
Lottozero functions as a creative textile hub, offering designers and artists a space to experiment with artisanal textile processes, directly experience Prato's specific recycling landscape, and activate the city's textile heritage. Lottozero's work is closely linked to the local ecosystem, connecting businesses, materials, and evolving techniques, capitalising on challenges and opportunities equally. Through residencies and consultancy projects, Lottozero brings diverse international perspectives into dialogue with local knowledge, thereby fostering new ways of understanding textile waste as a valuable resource.

ARIANNA MORODER is a textile designer and artist from Bolzano, and a co-founder of Lottozero. After studying in Milan (IED), Amsterdam (Rietveld Academie), and Berlin (Kunsthochschule Weißensee), she returned to Italy to dedicate herself to working in the textile industry in Prato.
