Medium print
Nature – Layer by Layer
Fri 04. – Sun 06 June 2027
In this course, we will print on wool, silk, cotton, or linen fabrics using the Mediumprint technique, combining the natural structures of plants with creative colour design. To achieve optimal colour absorption and long-lasting results, the fabrics will be carefully prepared and pre-treated. The starting point for each artwork will be leaves, flowers, and other plant elements, whose colours and shapes will also serve as a source of inspiration. In contrast to classic Ecoprint, Mediumprint opens up additional creative possibilities. Through deliberately applied colour areas, backgrounds are created that harmoniously complement the plant motif or consciously bring it to the fore. Whether fine monochrome nuances or expressive multi-coloured compositions – the technique offers ample room for individual design and artistic experimentation.
