Mon 20 - Fri 24 July 2026

Tablet weaving is a special form of ribbon weaving. Perforated cards (tablets) can be used to weave a variety of coloured ribbons with a wide range of patterns. These ribbons can be used as decorative borders, traditional ribbons, belts, etc.
In this course, participants will learn the basics of tablet weaving and experience the joy of weaving artistically patterned ribbons with simple tools. Among other things, they will learn how to read a weaving pattern, how to warp and weave. Depending on progress, complex patterns can also be developed.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to develop further patterns independently. The focus is on having fun weaving and awakening interest in this fascinating craft in order to realise your own creative ideas.
