Form follows material
Experimental design with textile remnants
Tue 21 - Fri 24 July 2026
This course invites you to discover the hidden aesthetics and creative potential of textile waste and let yourself be guided by the material - freed from prefabricated ideas!
Through trial and error, playful work and dialogue with different materials, a form is created using various braiding techniques that grows organically and develops from the material itself - anything is possible, from applied to free, artistic projects. We explore textures, resistances and possibilities and let ourselves be guided by chance and intuition. By the end of the week, you will have developed your own unique shape, a special object or a unique basket through intuitive, material-led work.
