Hoe maak je een draad van papier, hoe ga je ermee om en wat is er zo speciaal aan dit materiaal?
In this course, we'll experiment with a wide variety of yarn qualities using simple textile techniques. We'll create initial samples through spinning, knotting, braiding, weaving, knitting, needle-binding, and much more. We'll explore a repertoire of primary textile techniques and build on existing knowledge to realise small projects. Starting from the ideation phase, through planning, development, shaping, dyeing, and surface finishing, you'll create jewellery or small objects made from paper. Ideas for fastenings will be presented and can be implemented.
