Mühlviertel Oil Mill
Fri, 31 July, from 6:00 PM

To round off the summer symposium TEXTILE KULTUR HASLACH in a cosy way, DJ Joel Isaac Black will create the right atmosphere at the Mühlviertler Ölmühle.
The musician, originally from the USA and living in Berlin, will arrive with his vinyl records and present pleasant ambient-jazz-blues-mellow moods on a two- to three-hour listening journey – nothing too energetic, more of a general „vibe” in which guests can meet, socialise, and enjoy themselves in a relaxed manner.
Building on over two decades of passionate work at the intersection of global music scenes – as a DJ, live performer, curator, producer, journalist, and record shop manager – Joel Isaac Black has established himself as a unique music facilitator. Born in Texas to a blues musician, raised on harmonica and swamp guitar, and later re-baptised in Berlin's discotheques, he continues to travel the world today in search of uplifting musical moments.
The relaxing music will round off the course weeks and at the same time provide a lovely welcome for guests who have already arrived for the following day's Haslach meeting.
